Dazed and Confused is returning to theaters.
Alamo Drafthouse announced Friday the next iteration of its Support Local Cinemas campaign will feature a pre-recorded Dazed and Confused Zoom reunion between director Richard Linklater, stars Matthew McConaughey and Parker Posey, and host Jack Black "for a look back at a film that captured the look and the sounds of an entire generation."
The release adds: "Theaters across the world will show the movie with the post-screening conversation beginning 4/20 and continuing into May."
Tickers to those screenings are available here.
Dazed and Confused was set on the last day of school in a 1976 Austin, Texas—also home to Alamo Drafthouse's headquarters—and followed a group of upperclassmen hazing the incoming freshmen during a night of debauchery. Dave Wooderson was McConaughey's breakout role, and the source of his eternal "alright, alright, alright." The same is true for Posey.
The 1993 cult classic also starred Ben Affleck, Adam Goldberg, Joey Lauren Adams, Marissa Ribisi and Anthony Rapp.
