Kelly Oubre Jr. participated in the Philadelphia 76ers' Game 3 win over the New York Knicks but was involved in a car crash hours after their Game 2 loss. He discussed the crash after their win last night, joking about needing a driver and staying off the roads.

“Everything is good. I’m OK. The people that were involved are OK. I need to probably get a driver or something and just stay off the roads, (not) be behind the wheel. But everything is good. I still was able to do my job, support my family, and things are good.”

Oubre reportedly crashed a few hours after Philly's Game 2 loss in New York, though the crash took place in Philadelphia, totaling Oubre's Lamborghini and the 2023 Hyundai Elantra that was crashed into.

"The crash took place at the intersection of 16th and Vine streets at 1:45 a.m., according to the police. That was just a few hours after the Sixers' Game 2 playoff loss to the New York Knicks on Monday evening up in Manhattan... Police said the crash happened when a 2021 Lamborghini ran a red light as it was driving northbound on 16th Street when it hit a 2023 Hyundai Elantra."

Oubre had suffered a mysterious crash earlier this year, suffering broken ribs after getting hit by an unidentified vehicle while on a bicycle. Doubts were raised around Oubre's version of the story after no footage was found and it caused Oubre to miss nearly a month of action. This is the second incident in the span of a season and it could be a cause for concern.

The 76ers have been aware of the situation, with Oubre playing in Game 3 after the incident and expected to continue playing in the series. He put up 15 points on 6-8 shooting with seven rebounds in the 125-114 Game 3 Philly win.
