Caicedo cleared of 'clumsy' challenge on Liverpool midfielder Gravenberch

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was the victim of a disgusting" challenge in the Carabao Cup final.

That is according to former Reds and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp.

The Sky Sports pundit spoke about Gravenberch being fouled by Moises Caicedo of Chelsea in the game, which the Reds won 1-0 after extra time.

He told Sky Sports: "It's not a great challenge, it's extremely clumsy. It's worse when a player's foot is planted and you can see, that then Caicedo puts his foot in, it looks disgusting when you look at it like that, you can see why he's gone off.

"Caicedo isn't looking, he's following where the ball is going. It's definitely a yellow card, when his foot's planted and you get out the way, normally you're fine but as you can see the impact makes him roll over."

"You can see why Jurgen Klopp isn't upset and disappointed with it but I think a yellow card in that situation does suffice."
